GIPA Summer Reading Book Program and Book Report

Dear Parents,

This summer, GIPA is excited to introduce our new Summer Reading Book Program! Thanks to your generous donations and GIPA, we are able to provide German Summer Reading books for students in incoming 2nd through 5th grade at no cost.

These books are meant to help your child stay connected to the German language and enjoy reading over the summer.

To ensure these books can be used by future students, we kindly ask that they are treated with care and returned in the same condition they were received:

Please make sure:
•⁠ ⁠No writing, underlining, or highlighting in the book
•⁠ ⁠No torn, bent, folded, or missing pages
•⁠ ⁠No water damage, stains, or spills
•⁠ ⁠Cover and spine remain intact

📌 Books should be returned together with the book reports no later than September 8th, 2026 to the german teacher.

Books that are not returned, or are returned damaged, will incur a $15 replacement fee to cover the cost for the next group of students.
